@brenda said in Rabbits to the front, turkeys to the rear!: Your Jack Russell knows exactly how to fix both of these problems, yet you hold him back from his destiny. I'm afraid my daughter's heart would break. She's been trying to persuade us to adopt him. I suspect the local coyote may adopt him first, but I'm saying nothing.

@LuFins-Dad said in That Bites: So the tick wasn't even tested. Apparently it was a type of tick with no known disease associations... It was just a skin infection caused by the bite and me not keeping it covered appropriately. (I really thought that 4 days was good enough) Yay! I love a happy ending. Looking forward to pics of your yard project, btw.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Gibson guitar question: @Rainman said in Gibson guitar question: Somewhat off-topic, but related. If you store a guitar for years, should you loosen the strings so there is not continuous tension on the neck? We've got an hmmm, not sure but it was expensive when I bought it for my daughter. Stuffed in a closet somewhere around here. I think you should loosen the strings a little - maybe 1 or 2 half-steps. You don't want to remove all the tension. Thanks, Phibes. I need to see if I can find it. Decrease tension by a whole step each string. Got it, thanks again.

Thanks for the PSA, Larry, though the whole time I was reading it I was sure it was leading to a punny lunch line,

I don’t really believe that the school-to-boring-middle-class-job highway appeals to any meaningful segment of leftward voters. But that is in fact the quantifiable privilege of the white folk.

@Mik said in Quickbooks?: If this is too much feature functionality for her church they might consider just using Excel. There are a lot of free templates out there for churches and nonprofits. Really? I'll look into those.

You know, for being a fake/rendered video, they really didn't need the "whip pan" video angle. Should've just had a static angle.

If the pols want to help the hospitals, start by reviewing the stacks of rules they operate under. Hospitals are very top heavy, when it comes to administration. Administration that shuffles a lot of unnecessary paper...

If this has happened like it was presented in the tweet, then there are no words. The guy who did this is presumably beyond repair and should spend most of his life in jail. These days, however, you have to be very careful. I wonder, for instance, if that is really a homeless person. Sure, it could be a person in a sleeping bag, but it could also be something completely different.

Ax, have you found that some rallies are better than others? Also need to point out that the babylonbee is not an authoritative Leftist site, so keep in mind that you don't have to attend. You could get a note from MomAx, MomAx will set you free.
